Done with Preparations (more or less)

At the time of writing this, I am essentially finished with my project and ready to give it a shot in Alaska. I settled on a final version of the 3D printed box that I think will work well for testing. I decided to create holes in the box at each corner and use long bolts that I picked up from Lowes to allow for variable height. I have also secured all of my components to a piece of wood so that I can conveniently move it around wherever I need to go.

I have all of the electrical components packed nicely inside of a small plastic container that compact and clean looking. The Arduino is connected to a rechargeable battery and an OpenLog chip so I’ll be able to gather data in the field and worry about analysis later.

Overall, I feel really good about where I’ve landed with the project and I can’t wait to get to Alaska and start running tests!
